Prior to launching Wordsmith, Weiller worked in the marketing arena for The Coca-Cola Company, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and Time Warner, Inc., among others. In her leadership roles, she made a positive impact on sales via product-specific publicity campaigns. During her career, Weiller has edited and penned press releases, excerpts, collateral and advertising copy, professional biographies, newsletters, magazine articles, sales letters, public relations pitches, and mission statements. She has also developed memorable captions, taglines, product and company names, book/personal essay titles, and article headlines.
Weiller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The College of the Holy Cross and serves as Class Correspondent. She is a five-time Connecticut Press Club award-winner and 2nd Place recipient of the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) Award. She is an established journalist, publicist and essayist and has both national and local bylines in print and online, including public relations fare and fifty personal essays. She's a supporter of the arts, a pop culture enthusiast, and resides in Connecticut with her husband and two sons.
