Marcelle Soviero

Marcelle is the founder of Marcelle Ink and M-ink Media, twin companies designed to educate, support, publish and promote writers at all stages in their creative journey. Her work has been published in numerous outlets, including the New York Times, NPR, Creative Nonfiction and The Rumpus. She is the author of An Iridescent Life: Essays on Motherhood and contributor to Blended: Writers on the Step Family Experience. Marcelle is the former Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Brain Child:The Magazine for Thinking Mothers, and founder of Brain Teen: The Magazine for Thinking Parents — two award-winning magazines that merged with Creative Nonfiction and the Creative Nonfiction Foundation in 2019. Marcelle has an MFA from New York University. She lives with her husband in Wilton and is the exhausted mother of five young adult children.
